Change in the UK is a short documentary on the knife and gun culture in London. It is titled change in the UK because the same problems in London occur across the united kingdom. Change is aimed at provoking thought on what it is that is happening in regards to knives and guns with young people in the UK. As long as there are people there will be violence and crime, but there will never be a justification for a fourteen year old to be stabbed to death. Change in the UK stems from the idea that what is happening now should not continue. Through a series of interviews with those who have been engaged through whatever form with knives and guns people offer their opinions on how a change is possible. Change in the UK attempts to answer questions such as why. There are no instant answers to the problem of children running around wanting to kill other children and Change in the UK wont solve this with one watch. Change is an idea, that we might try and look at our attitudes to do what we can to improve what is we are facing.
